Weebly – Create multi-page websites using a drag and drop Ajax interface. Users can then save those websites to a Weebly server or download them for use elsewhere.
Synthasite – An Ajax based drag and drop webpage editor.
Google Pages – Ajax based simple WYSIWYG web editor.
Sprout – A browser-based tool for creating interactive widgets and web sites in Flash
Jimdo – Another easy to use AJAX site editor. Has a feature for copying other sites’ designs.
Sampa, Babyjellybeans and MyFamily.com – All family oriented, create a personal website, family website or baby website.
Letseat.at – Create a free web site for your restaurant.
SnapPages – Drag and drop text boxes, widgets, photos, calendars and more with an easy to use web page builder.
Pagii – Aims to craft highly stylized personal web pages with drag and drop resizeable widgets. Has social network qualities.
Edicy – An elegant and simple solution to creating web sites.
Sauropol – Create blogs, text pages, image galleries, news lists, document folders, bulletin boards and more.
DoodleKit – Some of these features are available for free, but many will require that you pay
SiteKreator – The free version is a little limited with only 5 design choices.

    Great list! Another good option is Webs.com. You can create a free website for pretty much any purpose. But, what’s really nice is that they also offer a free small business website that allows you to sell products online.

    WEBRIQ: 30 day free trial and then what??? I wish people came out up front with what they want from us – and without having to register. (tried faq and terms to find waht happens after teh 30 days but nothing – do you really think people are gonna invest time and effort in something not knowing what its gonna cost themlater… wtf!!)

    alrite, a website creator, that i would like to see if you guys would like to put it up in the list way-up above, is ModX, it is pretty alrite, but also, complicated, not so complicated that you may just wanna give up, with a little bit of frustration, it is pretty good, someone is trying to upgrade a site with ModX, at present and it looks really good. :)
